Crescent Moon Maamoul & Date Box — Hand-Blown Egyptian Glass Ramadan Sweet Box (Model 138)

A crescent moon, pulled by hand from hot glass. The lid rises in fluted rays to a solid crescent finial — the shape that opens the month — and seats deep into an optic-ribbed base. Wide and low, it holds a full layer of maamoul, dates, sugared almonds or Eid sweets, keeps them fresh between iftar and suhoor, and still lets the light through.

Mouth-blown in our Cairo workshop, no moulds. The crescent is shaped and annealed as part of the lid, so there is nothing glued on to come loose in transit or in a customer's hands. Every crescent carries its own curve.
