Quick answers for importers, retailers and gift brands buying hand-blown Egyptian glass from Grand Bazaar Egypt.
Ordering
What is the minimum order?
Catalogue orders start at $250 in total, with models and colours mixed freely. Discovery Sets, gift sets, home gifts and carton lots have their own fixed prices. See Wholesale Terms.
Can I order samples before a wholesale order?
Yes. Discovery Sets start at $99 with express shipping included, and the full price is credited on a first wholesale order of $1,000 or more placed within 30 days.
Can I choose specific colours?
Stock ships in mixed colours. Specific colour quantities are confirmed within 24 hours or made to order in 15–25 days. Write your colour wishes in the order note.
How can I pay?
By card or PayPal at checkout (no PayPal account needed), or by bank transfer against a pro-forma invoice — choose bank transfer at checkout and the invoice follows within one business day.
Can I get a pro-forma invoice for my company?
Yes. Every bank-transfer order receives a pro-forma invoice in USD with our bank details, and a commercial invoice and packing list travel with the shipment.
Shipping
How long does delivery take?
In-stock pieces are dispatched from Cairo in 2–3 business days and arrive by air express courier, door to door, 5–8 business days after dispatch. You receive a tracking number on dispatch.
Which incoterm do you ship on?
DAP. Shipping is paid at checkout; import duties and local taxes are paid by the buyer on arrival.
How is shipping calculated?
By weight and destination at checkout. Very large orders receive a freight quote within 24 hours. See Shipping & Delivery.
What happens if glass breaks in transit?
Every piece is individually wrapped in reinforced export cartons, and we photograph each carton before sealing. Transit breakage is replaced or credited when reported within 48 hours with a photo.
Product and customisation
What glass do you use?
Mouth-blown borosilicate glass, heat-resistant and food-safe, finished by hand with 24K liquid gold in our Cairo workshop. Small variations are part of handmade glass. See Our Craft.
Can a glass mabkhara be used with hot charcoal?
Yes. Place the charcoal disc on the metal tray or on a bed of sand, let the glass cool completely before washing, and wash by hand to protect the gold.
Do you make custom colours, logos and private-label packaging?
Yes. Your own colours and gold pattern from 100 pieces per design; logo engraving and branded packaging from 300 pieces. Production takes 20–30 days from sample approval. See Custom & Private Label.
Do you offer gift boxes?
A plain gift box is available on request: $1 per mabkhara, jars and bottles priced by size. Most buyers use their own branded box, from 300 pieces. Individual boxes add carton volume, so express shipping can cost more.

Where is Grand Bazaar Egypt located?
Our workshop is in Cairo (El Geish St., Bab El Shaereya). We have exported hand-blown glass since 2006 to buyers in more than 30 countries. We sell for export only.
