Egyptian Glass Mini Mabkhara — Anbar · Bakhoor & Aroma Oil Burner on Gilded Stand, 13 cm (Model 96)

The small burner that sells in every market — bakhoor in the Gulf, aroma oil in Europe.

Anbar is a hand-blown glass dish raised on a gilded brass-tone stand. Put a charcoal disc in the dish and it is a compact mabkhara for the majlis; put a tealight below and a few drops of oil in the dish and it is an aroma burner for the bedroom or the spa. One piece, two customers.

It is our best-selling piece outside the perfume range: home-fragrance brands pair it with their oils as a ready-made gift set, hotels and spas use it in treatment rooms, and Gulf retailers stock it beside bakhoor and oud. At 13 cm it sits on any shelf and at this price it is an impulse buy that keeps coming back for refills.

Each burner is blown, assembled and gilded by hand in our Cairo workshop; small differences in curve and gold are the signature of the craft.
