Egyptian Glass Vase — Bouq · Ribbed Trumpet on Twisted Knop, 28 cm (Model 194)

A trumpet on a twisted knop — the tall vase for a single stem or a loose bunch.

Bouq, “trumpet”, is a long ribbed flare that rises from a twisted onion-shaped knop on a fluted foot, with 24K gold at the rim and the base. The twist in the knop catches light under the flowers; the narrow throat holds stems upright without foam.

It is the centre of the Iridescent Vanity Set and, in rose, the vase wedding planners order for guest tables. Ships in a tall carton; pack in pairs.

Each piece is mouth-blown and finished by hand in our Cairo workshop; small variations in shape, colour and decoration are the signature of the craft.
