Wahaj is a flared glass cup on a gilded foot, banded at the shoulder with a wide engraved gold ring and supplied with its own brass tray for the charcoal. The tray lifts out for cleaning; the glass keeps the heat off the table and lets the colour glow when the bakhoor catches.

It is the shape bakhoor and oud shops sell most: clean lines, a strong gold accent, and a price that works as a gift or as the house mabkhara. Order it in one colour for a matching display or mixed for a colour story on the shelf.

Each piece is mouth-blown, banded and gilded by hand in our Cairo workshop; small differences in curve and gold are the signature of the craft.
